Water wastage

The average household will use about 150 litres of water every day. This is a 30% increase since 1970, and most of this water is wasted. Where does this water go?

- 2/3 of water used daily comes from the bathroom. Flushing the toilet uses 30% of this!
- Over 1/4 of water is used in the kitchen on a daily basis...using the washing machine, washing pots by hand, using the dishwasher...
