Highest % of mortgage lending since 2009

Mortgage lending in Britain is at its top level of 4% since April this year and £12.1 billion worth was taken out over March 2013. Houses in London and the South East of England are the most expensive in Britain, and if this area was taken out of the stats, the lending figure would only be up by 0.6% or so every year.
